About the Author
Tim began writing poetry to his girlfriend when he was a teenager. As time passed, and his writing matured, he began to see poetry as a way to express the world around him, so came the name Definitions (Poetry that defines life, love, and beyond). Tim has dreamed of writing a book since those early days, and now this dream has become a reality. The poetry in the book spans from back to those days as a teenager to today. Today it has become a part of his soul and a unique way for expression. Today, Tim has broadened his writing ability to not only poetry, but also to fiction, inspiring short stories, and articles.
Tim is also an accomplished photographer and musician, he also loves to draw, all with the same beauty and emotion that drives the writing of his poetry.
Tim enjoys hiking, and has been inspired to write many stories and poetry while on the trail. Tim states, "The freedom I find as I walk amongst the forest and the mountains spawns creativity deep inside me, no hike is complete without a notebook in the backpack or a camera strapped to my shoulder."

Reaching for a Dream
Tonight I reach to the sky
to where dreams reside
I reach to the heavens to the moon and stars
a world so close, yet not long ago seemed so far
Poetry has brought me such joy like an angel's kiss
spinning in this world that I've been whisked
the world of unlocked dreams
